Getting up extra early to feed your animal, then enduring a regular school day, to spending hours grooming and training your animal to feeding them again in the evening makes our FFA students, true examples of hard working and committed individuals. These traits earned the entire FFA program many accolades this year with the following Seniors making their last contests memorable.
Chylah Powers-Brown won reserve grand lamb showman at the CFISD Livestock Show.
Ashley Reinkoester was the goat Class 4 winner at the CFISD Livestock Show and received a $1,000 scholarship from the Seven Lakes FFA CDE Contest. She also placed 9th individually at the Texas FFA State Entomology CDE contest.
Brandon Romans won reserve grand goat showman at the CFISD Livestock Show. He was also a member of the State Entomology team. Joshua White was the steer Class 1 winner at the CFISD Livestock Show and grand champion calf scramble showman at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. He was also a member of the state Vet Science team.
Karina Williams was a member of the state Floriculture team.
